Full Time MEP coordinator

As a key member of the design team, the MEP Coordinator drives the integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems into a unified, high-performing design. This role goes beyond coordination, it’s about leading collaboration, solving technical challenges, and ensuring every system complements the architectural and structural vision. The MEP Coordinator serves as the bridge between disciplines, transforming complex design inputs into seamless, efficient, and innovative solutions that meet both technical excellence and client expectations.

·         Coordinate MEP design activities across all project stages to ensure alignment with architectural and structural disciplines.

·         Review and consolidate design inputs from various MEP engineers and consultants to maintain consistency and technical compliance.

·         Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and ensure all MEP elements are properly integrated and clash-free within the model.

·         Ensure that all MEP designs comply with international standards, local codes, and project-specific requirements.

·         Support the preparation of design documentation, specifications, and technical reports.

·         Communicate effectively with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to resolve design conflicts and maintain design intent.

·         Review design deliverables (drawings, calculations, and specifications) prior to submission for quality and accuracy.

·         Assist in responding to client and stakeholder comments during design reviews.

·         Coordinate with sustainability, energy, and lighting teams to ensure holistic system integration.

·         Support the development of value engineering proposals and contribute to technical presentations when required.

·         Excellent in English language (Speaking, reading & writing)

·         Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field.

·         4-7 of experience working with GIS technology and software

·         Strong proficiency in data management, spatial analysis, and map creation.

·         Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field).

·         Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP design coordination within consultancy firms.

·         Strong understanding of building services design principles and interdisciplinary coordination.

·         Proficient in (BIM), experience with coordination platforms is an advantage.

·         Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, BS, EN, etc.).

·         Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

·         Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple design packages simultaneously.
