Full-Time Design Architect – German Speaker

SUMIZURA is looking for a talented and creative Design Architect with native or fluent German language skills to join our team in Cairo.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design and BIM, with the ability to communicate effectively with German-speaking clients / projects, consultants, and project stakeholders. You will contribute to the development of high-quality architectural projects while ensuring effective design coordination and BIM integration.

·       Develop architectural concepts and designs from initial sketches through detailed design and construction documentation.

·       Prepare architectural presentations, sketches, 3D models, visualizations, and design materials.

·       Develop and coordinate BIM models in accordance with project standards and requirements.

·       Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.

·       Perform clash detection and BIM coordination to identify and resolve design conflicts.

·       Prepare technical drawings, 3D visualizations, and presentation materials.

·       Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and presentations with German-speaking clients and stakeholders.

·       Contribute to design competitions, conceptual development, and project presentations.

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

·       Native or fluent German speaker, with excellent written and spoken German.

·       Good command of English, both written and spoken.

·       Minimum 2 years of professional experience in architectural design; experience in hospitality or commercial projects is an advantage.

·       Strong conceptual, creative, and technical design skills.

·       Good knowledge of BIM workflows and industry-standard architectural software.

·       Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

·       Willingness to participate in local and international meetings and travel when required.
